How Sundance Grinders is helping to close the biomass waste loop!
Sundance was recently invited to a customer's ranch in Colorado to upgrade their equipment with a new discharge and to see how they seamlessly incorporated the 48 Series grinder into their composting process.
The Waste Problem
Chris and his wife operate a horse boarding facility, as well as a landscape architecture firm. They were spending upwards of $1,000 a month on disposal fees for their manure and bedding while also having to buy compost and other soil enhancements for their landscaping projects. This motivated them to begin their composting journey!
The Solution
At the beginning of their journey, they spent a significant amount of time and money on equipment that did not satisfy their requirement of creating a consistent-looking finished product. They eventually came across Sundance and decided to reach out for a solution. Shortly after their 48 Series grinder was delivered - and continuing into the past year - we collaborated with Chris to ensure that his grinder continues to produce a desirable finished product and contributes to the efficiency of his operation.
Closing the Waste Loop
The success of this composting operation and others like it are leading the effort to close the waste loop that plagues many communities. With the mission of diverting waste from local landfills, enriching land through compost, and restoring health to our communities, Sundance will continue to break barriers by manufacturing quality and affordable equipment for small to mid-sized operators. Let us help you to close the waste loop locally!
